Demonte Colony 2
Ahead of the exciting release of the upcoming horror thriller Demonte Colony 2, lead actor Arulnithi made interesting revelations about the fan-favorite horror franchise. For the unversed, the upcoming sequel is a spiritual successor to the spine-chilling 2015 horror-thriller Demonte Colony.
In a recent promotional interview, the actor revealed that when director R. Ajay Gnanamuthu first narrated the story of the sequel, he also shared the one-liner for the third and fourth parts of the film. Although Arulnithi was initially dubious, the director effectively detailed how the story would unfold, and planned to bring characters from both installments into the third and fourth parts of the horror franchise.
“Storylines for parts 3 and 4 of Demonte Colony are ready. However, the success of the sequel will decide whether these will be made,” the actor revealed. He also added that the sequel was initially supposed to be directed by Ajay’s associate, but the makers later decided it would be better for Ajay to direct it himself.

Earlier, the makers shared the release trailer of the film, which showcased Arulnithi's character, who died in the first part and wakes up to realize he is now a wandering soul trapped in a dangerous realm. After the events of the past, now in the present, a new character essayed by Priya Bhavani Shankar discovers her ability to foresee the afterlife and encounters Arulnithi's wandering spirit. Arulnithi plays two roles in the trailer, with his living character becoming the only hope to save the trapped spirit as mysterious deaths continue to happen.
Priya Bhavani Shankar had earlier expressed her excitement about being part of the hit film franchise and promised that the sequel would not disappoint the audience, living up to the expectations set by the first installment.
