Deepika Padukone discharged from hospital days after giving birth to her baby girl; heads back home with Ranveer Singh | Watch

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone gave birth to a baby girl on September 8, 2024. The actress announced the baby’s arrival in a joint social media post with her husband Ranveer Singh. Now, the paparazzi have captured videos of the couple leaving the hospital and heading back with their first child.

Deepika Padukone gets discharged from hospital

A while ago, Ranveer and Deepika's car was spotted leaving the hospital. The new parents took their baby girl home. In the video, Ranveer’s father, Jagjit Singh Bhavnani was seen sitting in the front seat, leaving the hospital premises.

Meanwhile, before exiting the hospital premises, Deepika updated her Instagram bio. Offering a glimpse of herself as a new mom, she wrote, ‘Feed. Burp. Sleep. Repeat.’

Deepika and Ranveer welcome a baby girl

Deepika and Ranveer revealed that they have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, through an Instagram post which said, ‘Welcome baby girl! 8.9.2024. Deepika & Ranveer.’

Before getting admitted to the hospital, Deepika and Ranveer visited the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai. The couple was snapped by the paparazzi seeking blessings in Indian attires. In the videos, Deepika was spotted flaunting her baby bump in a traditional green saree. Ranveer, however, wore a cream-colored kurta-pajama, styled with a bun and black sunglasses.

Ranveer and Deepika dated for a few years before getting hitched in 2018 in a lavish wedding attended by close friends and family. The couple met on the sets of the film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and later starred in other films like Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.

On the professional front, Deepika was last seen in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. The film is set in the dystopian world of Kashi where Kalki will be born to rid people of their sufferings.

Ranveer, on the other hand, was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani alongside actress Alia Bhatt. The couple will be seen next in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again starring Ajay Devgn, and Kareena Kapoor Khan among others.
