‘Deepika ka copy Kiya’: Alia Bhatt stuns in blue, but trolls accuse her of copying Deepika Padukone again; watch

After winning hearts and rocking the box office with her performance as Rani Chatterjee in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Alia Bhatt jetted off for a well deserved break. She took a vacation in New York with her actor husband Ranbir Kapoor. Much to our delight, many of their unseen snaps with fans from this mini holiday surfaced on social media. Well, the two are now back and just last night we got a gorgeous glimpse of Alia when she stepped out to attend her BFF Akansha Ranjan Kapoor’s birthday bash.

Alia was joined by her sister Shaheen Bhatt. The two Bhatt beauties put their most fashionable foot forward for the starry affair and made several heads turn when they stepped out of their car. While Shaheen opted for a red gown with puffy sleeves and a red pout, Alia rocked a royal blue fringe dress with a plunging neckline. She completed this look with a pretty pink lipstick. Her hair was styled in waves and she looked extremely glamorous in her chic attire. We honestly can’t get enough of this look. See for yourself:

But for some reason, many netizens are now comparing her to fellow Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone. Trolls are accusing Alia of copying DP, and this is sadly not the first time that this has happened. One social media user wrote: “Why alia bhatt looking like deepika”, whereas another troll stated: “Ye kitna bhi try Karle, Deepika k level par nahi Pohach sakti.” A third nasty comment read: “Deepika ka copy Kiya hai style.” But there were many fans who came out in Alia’s support and showered her with love. For instance, a sweet comment read: “💯 ranbir kapoor is so lucky”, whereas another fan wrote: “Look at. The greatness of Alia Bhatt..all Deepika fans are famous here with trash comment.”
