Dance Deewane promo: Suniel Shetty’s ‘Border’ performance evokes the spirit of patriotism | Watch

If you are a fan of Suniel Shetty-starrer Border then you are in for a treat as the actor will perform scenes from the film on the dance floor of the reality television show Dance Deewane. Donning an army costume, Suniel will portray the important scenes of Border. The makers of the dance reality show took to their official Instagram handle and shared the promo of Suniel Shetty’s Border performance, evoking the spirit of patriotism.

Suniel Shetty’s ‘Border’ performance

The promo begins with Suniel doing a dance number with a letter in his hands as the song Sandese Aate Hain is playing in the background. The actor then performs the scenes where he is fighting the enemy forces along the Indian border.

After killing several enemies in the action sequences, Suniel gets shot and he takes a grenade in his hand, while saying, “Shakti de ma! (Give me energy, mother).” The caption of the post read, “Dance Deewane ke hero, Suniel Shetty, ne liya ek desh ke hero ka roop! Dekhiye yeh action sequence, only on Dance Deewane! Dekhiye #DanceDeewane, har Sat-Sun raat 9:30 baje, sirf #Colors aur @officialjiocinema par.”

Netizens react to Suniel’s performance

On social media, Suniel’s fans expressed their excitement for the upcoming episode. One netizen wrote, “Bhairav singh rocks,” while another wrote, “Goosebumps.”

For the unversed, Suniel Shetty starred in the 1997 film Border, directed by JP Dutta. The film also starred Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Akshaye Khanna, and Pooja Bhatt, among others. Suniel played the role of a Rajasthani Army officer called Bhairav Singh. The film became a box office hit and is one of the cult-classic films of Bollywood, still remembered for its heartfelt storyline and brilliant acting performances.
