Hrithik Roshan’s 2003 sci-fi film Koi… Mil Gaya had not only turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office becoming a favorite amongst all age groups but it also marked one of the most iconic performances of the superstar in his glorious filmography. The movie is being re-released into the theatres today (August 4) and on this occasion, the actor took to his social media handle to share a special message with his fans. He urged everyone to go watch the movie and relive the experience they had 20 years ago.
Talking about the same, Hrithik Roshan shared a video from his car wherein he announced the re-release of Koi… Mil Gaya. The actor said that though the movie had been released 20 years earlier, its re-release now feels that a new movie of his is releasing. The actor added that it has aged pretty well and holds a special place in his heart. However, the Jodha Akbar actor said that when he looks back, he thinks that he could have done a better job in the movie. Lastly, Hrithik urged everyone to relive the experience of Jadoo, the blue-bodied alien who befriends his character Rohit in the movie. Take a look at the same.
He captioned the same stating, “Relive the ‘Jaadoo’ with your family & friends on #20YearsOfKoiMilGaya from 4th August across select PVR INOX screens.” The movie had been directed by Hrithik Roshan’s father Rakesh Roshan and saw two successful sequels after that, Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 (2013). In the latest interview with a publication, Rakesh Roshan said that he had taken a huge gamble with his son’s career with Koi… Mil Gaya since his last few films had tanked at the box office. However, we all know that the reality turned out to be something else. The movie also starred Preity Zinta and Rekha in the lead roles.
