CID 2: Dayanand Shetty aka Daya is all set to be back with the latest season of the show

The very moment one hears the name of CID on television, one is reminded of the razor sharp Shivaji Satam in the iconic role of ACP Pradyuman. Equally iconic was the role of Daya, which was played by the stellar actor Dayanand Shetty. How can anyone forget the evergreen line, ‘Daya…tod do darwaaza’!

The good news is that, the extremely popular TV show CID is now all set to be back with a bang! The announcement of the same was done a few days ago. Today, the makers of the show decided to introduce the character of Daya on social media.

With a few poses of Daya, the said post was captioned as, ‘Daya ke toh naam se hi apraadhi (aur darwaaze) kaamp uthte hai! #CID phir aa raha hai #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par.’ This post of the serial really pumped up the excitement of the show once again in the minds and the hearts of the audiences. This was visible from the countless comments by the fans of the show on the said post.

Amongst the many comments that the said pot had, one common thing that could be seen amongst the netizens was that, they were super eager to know the commencement date of the show. One user posted, ‘Kab aayega yr ab nahi hota intezaar… Release date announce Karo. This is just not done. On one hand, the show’s team are ensuring that the audiences become restless knowing about the re-coming of the show. On the other hand, they are not even telling the release date of the show. This is really frustrating and how!’.

Another user wrote, ‘This is what I am telling that the show’s makers should be soon telling us the date of the show when it will be releasing. The more they delay, the interest amongst the audiences will simply vanish, which is something I just do not want to happen.
