Kangana Ranaut once again took to her Instagram stories to throw shade at her well-known industry nemesis Karan Johar . The actress shared a throwback video of the producer wherein he can be seen saying that he is not interested to work with her. Sharing the same, Kangana took a sharp dig at KJo for his statements.
Talking about the same, Kangana Ranaut shared the throwback video of Karan Johar from a 2017 interview at the London School of Economics. The Kal Ho Na Ho director could be seen saying, “When she (Kangana Ranaut) said 'movie mafia' what does she mean? What does she think we are doing? Sitting and not giving her work? Is that what makes us mafia? No, we do that by choice. I do that because maybe I am not interested in working with her."
The video then cuts to Kangana Ranaut’s India Today interview wherein she hits back at Karan Johar and says, “He said I am jobless and looking for job from him or something like that. I mean look at my talent and look at your movies. I mean really?" The Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi actress captioned the video stating, “Chacha Chaudhary thanks for these frivolous outbursts when I establish myself as a filmmaker and producer...Will rub these in your face.” Take a look at the post.
The volcanic enmity between the actress and the producer began after the formerly infamously called him the ‘flagbearer of nepotism’ and ‘movie mafia’ on his show Koffee With Karan . Ever since then, both Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar have taken direct and indirect digs at each other. Recently, Kangana also alleged that Karan meted out the same treatment to Priyanka Chopra after the latter spoke about being sidelined by some industry elites in Bollywood.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will be seen in Emergency which she has also directed. The actress will be playing former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. She also has movies like Tejas, Sita: The Incarnation, and Chandramukhi 2 in the pipeline.
