Following his role in Animal, Bobby Deol is gearing up to portray a morally ambiguous character once more in an upcoming YRF movie starring Alia Bhatt. The film is reported to be part of the Yash Raj Films (YRF)'s Spy Universe.
According to a report on Pinkvilla, Bobby Deol has come on board to portray the antagonist in the upcoming untitled female spy movie featuring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh. The report states that Bobby will play a menacing villain who confronts Alia and Sharvari's characters in the film.
Reportedly, all the formalities have been completed and Bobby is eagerly anticipating the commencement of film's shoot in the latter half of 2024. The report also disclosed that the role is tailor made for Bobby, keeping his talent in mind. What's quite interesting is that following his portrayal as the antagonist opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Animal, Bobby is now set to challenge Alia Bhatt, enhancing the significance of this casting coup.
According to Pinkvilla's source, “After Animal, this is yet another author-backed antagonist turn for Bobby Deol. He will be playing the terrifying evil force who takes on Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in the film. The paperwork is done and Bobby is all excited to start shooting for the film in the second half of 2024."
The source further told the publication that Bobby's character is going to be full of swag and the audience will be surprised to see Aditya Chopra and Shiv Rawail's presentation of this character .
On the work front, the actor will next be seen in Suriya-starrer Kanguva. The pan-India film also stars Disha Patani in a significant role.
