Bad Cop trailer out: Anurag Kashyap steals the show as Kazbe gangster, while Gulshan Devaiah plays double role in the series

Anurag Kashyap and Gulshan Devaiah starrer Bad Cop is soon going to make its world premiere on Disney+Hostar. While Anurag portrays the role of an antagonist named Kazbe, Gulshan has a double role in the series. The makers also revealed the release of the film with the action-packed trailer.

The makers of Bad Cop recently unveiled the trailer of the series on social media with the caption, “Yeh toh bas ABCD tha! Karan Arjun ayenge 21st June ko T for twist leke.” The trailer begins with Anurag Kashyap reciting his version of the poem ‘Ba ba black sheep.’ The trailer then shows Gulshan Devaiah playing the role of a cop named Karan in the series. A hint at the plot is given with Karan’s wife, Devika asking him if he has contacted Arjun, who is the prime suspect in Anand Mishra's murder case, creating intrigue in the mind of the audience about who Arjun is. 

A CBI officer named Khan enters the scene and suspects that Karan is hiding something. The trailer then reveals the antagonist of the series named Kazbe gangster, played by Anurag Kashyap. In a comical dialogue, Anurag’s character says, “Mein bahot fair aadmi hai, itna fair hain ki rat mein chamakta hain mein (I am so fair that I glow at night).” 

When Kazbe wants to kill Karan with his own hands, it is revealed that Karan and Arjun are lookalikes, maybe twins who are running away from the evil clutches of this gangster.

Social media users quickly took notice of the trailer and shared their excitement for the upcoming series in the comment section. One user wrote, “Waohhh finally excited to watch us in series, btw what a dashing trailer,” while another wrote, “The trailer looks intriguing, especially the dialogues. they were fantastic!” 

Helmed by Aditya Datt, Bad Cop starring Anurag Kashyap, Gulshan Devaiah and Herleen Sethi will release on June 21 on Disney+Hotstar.
