Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is venturing into the world of action with his upcoming project, Baby John, directed by Kalees. After mesmerizing the audience with the film’s taster cut in theatres, the makers of Baby John unveiled it on social media earlier today, November 4. Varun Dhawan’s fans are mighty impressed by his action avatar. Even the celebs and his friends from the industry can't stop heaping praises on the actor. Varun's mentor and filmmaker Karan Johar penned a sweet note for his 'student'.

The new daddy in town, Varun Dhawan took to Instagram and shared the taster cut with his fans. He wrote, "If this is the START, imagine the END, Baby. For now, watch #BabyJohnTasterCut, #BabyJohn will see you in the cinemas on Dec 25." In no time, his post was flooded with appreciation and immense love. Karan Johar took to his Instagram story and wrote, "Wah mere student!!!! Varun Dhawan dhamaal macha dia! Christmas bonanza!! Congratulations team Baby John!!”

Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda dropped fire emojis in the comments section. Varun's niece Anjini Dhawan, who recently made her acting debut, commented, "Looks FABB!!!!" followed by a fire emoji. Sanya Malhotra too dropped fire emojis. Reacting to the video, Neil Nitin Mukesh commented, “FIREEE, TOO GOOD." 

Singer Darshan Raval reacted to the teaser by saying, “Killer. Ab maza aaya na,” while Sophie Choudry shared, “Looks insaneeee.”

Produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande, Baby John is directed by Kalees. Starring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff among others, the film will hit the theatres on December 25, 2024. Baby John is presented by Jio Studios in collaboration with Atlee and Cine1 Studios. It marks Varun’s first theatrical release in two years.

On the personal front, Varun recently unveiled his daughter’s name during his appearance at Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. Varun revealed that he has named his daughter Lara.

Meanwhile, Varun is currently gearing up for the release of Citadel: Honey Bunny on November 7 on Netflix. The action-packed adventure series marks Varun’s first on-screen collaboration with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. For those unaware, Citadel: Honey Bunny is a spin-off of the American television series Citadel starring Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
