On the occasion of father Sunil Dutt’s death anniversary on Thursday, Sanjay Dutt shared a heartwrenching video which enclosed childhood memories. Alongside it, the actor also penned a sweet note for his late father which read, “Miss you every day, Dad. Your wisdom and guidance continue to inspire me.”Soon after the post surfaced on the internet, his fans got emotional.

For the unversed, the actor-politician Sunil Dutt died of a heart attack on 25 May 2005, two weeks before his 76th birthday. He was the Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports in the Union Government at the time of his death. He was cremated with full state honours in Mumbai. In films, he last appeared with Sanjay Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani’s Munna Bhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munna Bhai.
Meanwhile, Sanjay was last seen in Shamshera alongside Ranbir Kapoor. He will next be seen in a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film, Jawan. He also has Baap alongside Jackie Shroff, Sunny Deol and Mithun Chakraborty. Besides them, he has Binoy Gandhi’s Ghudchadi co-starring Raveena Tandon and The Good Maharaja, in which he will essay the role of Digvijaysinhji Ranjitsinhji Jadeja, the Maharaja Jam Sahib of Nawanagar.
