‘Baap re too much’: Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas host Diwali bash, actress gets trolled for heavy makeup

Global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas is currently busy conquering the world, one film at a time. But she is one Indian actress who never forgets the desi girl in her. She is extremely rooted and is instilling the same values in her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Just this week, she shared a glimpse of her daughter’s beautiful rangoli made on the occasion of Diwali. Well, pictures of our desi girl celebrating the festival of lights in the US have now taken over social media. She channeled her inner Bhartiya Nari in a gorgeous lehenga while her husband Nick Jonas complemented her in ethnic attire.

PeeCee rocked a velvet red low cut blouse paired with a matching dupatta and a heavily embellished ivory lehenga. She wore a diamond choker around her neck while her hair was up in a bun, with red roses surrounding it. Priyanka completed her look with a deep maroon pout, a bindi on her forehead and red eyeshadow. Nick, on the other hand, looked dapper in his white kurta pajama. He added a splash of colour with a printed Nehru jacket. They walked to the restaurant hand in hand followed by Nick’s brother Joe Jonas in a blue kurta pajama.

Well, Priyanka looks gorgeous and proves that she’s the ‘hottest girl in the world’. But netizens are not too happy with her makeup this time. Many are accusing her of going a little overboard. For instance, one social media user shared, “Baap re too much makeup ye minimal makeup mein hi pyari lagti hai 😕”, whereas another netizen wrote: “Pc ko dekh Diwali party kam helloween party jada lg rha h 😂😂😂.” A third troll asked, “Ye makeup artist koun tha😂😂”, whereas another comment read: “Sorry to say , Priyanka looks horror 😮🥹.” Another netizen randomly wrote: “Parineeti ki shaadi me nahi aaya gaya dono se.”
