The letter noted, "It has been observed that some social media platforms and several YouTubers have initiated a series of calumnious and defamatory write-ups with their own concocted and imaginary stories about their private life. It is unnecessary to reproduce each one of these statements, but it is clear that they are intended to misinform and mislead."
The legal team further clarified that there is no truth to the alleged rumors being circulated, which are intended to harm the composer’s reputation.
"This only highlights how certain individuals on social media, starved for content, are fabricating highly imaginative and false stories to defame my client, merely for their own cheap, short-lived publicity," the notice stated.
Furthermore, the legal team has demanded that media platforms remove the objectionable content within the next 24 hours, failing which appropriate legal action will be taken.
"My client has instructed me to file a defamation suit against anyone who has contributed to such false content on any media platform and to seek a prior restraint on further publication of such material," the notice added.
