Anushka Sharma binges on cake on her 34th birthday; feels ‘getting older’ is great

One of the most popular and adored actresses of Bollywood, Anushka Sharma celebrated her 34thbirthday on 1st May. She spent the day with her family and friends while social media showered with lovely wishes and blessings posted by her millions of fans and fellow celebrities. Much to our delight, her cricketer husband Virat Kohli took to his official Instagram handle to share adorable sneak peeks from her birthday bash. Well, later last evening, Anushka penned a special message expressing gratitude for all the love that came her way.

Along with pictures, which feature her enjoying a piece of her birthday cake, the actress shared, “I feel happier, more loving, more understanding, taking myself less seriously, listening more, finding joy in less, able to let-go better, more accepting of myself and others AND situations, feeling more beautiful, expressing feelings more easily, valuing my own opinion above others ….. This getting older business is going GREAT! Everyone should try it. Thank you for all the wishes and love you’ve sent my way. I’m SO grateful.”

She went on to add, “PS- I ate the biggest slice of my birthday cake. As it should be.” We 100% agree! Meanwhile on the work front, Anushka is all set to make her comeback to films a year after bringing her daughter Vamika into the world. She will be headlining Netflix ’s next titled Chakda 'Xpress, the biopic of Jhulan Goswami, cricketer and former captain of India national women's cricket team.
