As her first biopic project Amaran is set for release, Sai Pallavi opened up about her experience of working on the film and shared insights about meeting the real-life wife of Major Mukund Varadarajan, Indhu Rebecca Varghese.
During a recent promotional interview, the actress revealed that while Amaran marks her first role in a biopic, she chose to remain her authentic self while staying true to the emotions needed to perform the character. “I have never done a biopic before, so I just owned the character and portrayed it in my own way. I stayed true to the emotions, and I also got to interact with Major Mukund’s wife to understand the emotions and love,” she shared.
She continued, “Meeting Indhu Rebecca made me more conscious, as I had never portrayed a real-life character before. I was advised not to mimic her but to make the role my own, which I did. Our conversations felt like experiencing a pure first love, as she is still connected to that time and era.”
