Alia Bhatt's bestie Akansha Ranjan Kapoor is dating THIS filmmaker since six months, here's what we know

Alia Bhatt ’s BFF and actress Akansha Ranjan Kapoor has often been spotted at Bollywood parties and weddings besides movies. She recently attended Athiya Shetty’s wedding with whom she also shares a close bond. While her besties are all married, she has also found love in a filmmaker which only her close circle knows of. As per reports, she has been going out with Gunjan Saxena’s director Sharan Sharma for over six months.

According to a source close, Akansha blushes every time Sharan’s name is mentioned. “They are dating for sure. She gushes every time you talk about Sharan or even mention his name. I don’t think they are even trying to hide their relationship. In fact, they are quite open about it, at least in their social circle,” the source told Hindustan Times. However, the Guilty actress has maintained silence about her relationship, and not even Sharan has reacted to it.

Last night, Akansha made a stylish appearance with Vaani Kapoor at Shahid Kapoor’s Farzi screening, Dressed in a pink crop top and blue denim, she looked pretty as she posed with Vaani. For the unversed, she was among the few who attended the intimate wedding ceremony of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. She has a gang of friends which includes her elder sister Anushka Ranjan Kapoor who is married to Rocket Gang actor Aditya Seal.

On the professional front, Akansha made her acting debut with the Netflix movie, Guilty co-starring Kiara Advani. The actress made her next appearance in the 2021 Netflix anthology Ray, where she was seen opposite Harshvardhan Kapoor. She recently worked in Monica O My Darling, wherein she played Rajkummar Rao’s girlfriend. The film also stars Radhika Apte and Huma Qureshi. On the other hand, Sharan Sharma is currently filming his next Mr & Mrs Mahi featuring Rajkummar and Janhvi Kapoor.
