Bollywood’s most loved couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor celebrated their first Diwali after tying the knot with each other’s family. The Kapoors and Bhatts joined together to light diyas and do puja at home. The inside photos that have surfaced on the internet show Alia dressed in a red salwar suit accessorized with heavy earrings and a bindi on her forehead. On the other hand, Ranbir wore a black kurta and sported a beard and a hair band.

In another photo, Alia, Ranbir, Soni, Neetu, and Shaheen Bhatt are seen posing for a perfect selfie in the balcony with lights in the background. She simply wrote, “Happy Diwali," in the caption. Earlier, Alia had wished her fans on Diwali by posting a throwback picture from her last year's Diwali celebrations and also attached a fresh picture along with it. In the first picture, she is seen holding diya in a purple lehenga, while the second photo has her lying down on the bed and chilling with her cat Edward. “Happy Diwali from throwback me as current me is spending Diwali in bed, love and light to all, “ she captioned the post.
Meanwhile, Alia is in the final leg of her pregnancy and soon be delivering her first child with her husband Ranbir Kapoor. Reportedly, she will be delivering her child in November end or early December in HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in South Mumbai, the same place where the late Rishi Kapoor breathed his last.
