Bobby Deol has been receiving love and appreciation from all corners for his powerful performance in Sandeep Vanga Reddy’s Animal. In the latest, his father and legendary actor Dharmendra gushed over his performance as the antagonist Abrar Haque in the movie. The veteran actor took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture of Bobby from the film and wrote, "My, Talented Bob (sic)," with several heart emojis.
Before Dharmendra, Bobby’s elder brother and actor Sunny Deol heaped praises on him. The Gadar 2 actor posted a string of pictures, with his younger brother and captioned the images, "My little brother has shaken the world All guns firing success to #Animal.” To which, Bobby replied, "You are my life love you the most." Though Bobby had a screen time of 20 minutes, he made an indelible impact in the film.

Recently, Bobby took to his own Instagram handle and expressed gratitude for all the love coming his way because of Animal. He wrote, “Gratitude is the best attitude. Thank you all for your unwavering support and for allowing me to share my passion with you. Here’s to many more moments together on this incredible journey! #Thankful #AnimalKaEnemy.” He also shared a clip that has moments captured during the Animal trailer launch.

Animal stars Ranbir Kapoor as Rannvijay, who is described as a man who is ruthless and ambitious, willing to go to any lengths to save his father Balbir played by Anil Kapoor. He sets out to exact revenge on Abrar Haque, who planned an attack on his father. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna, Tripti Dimri and Shakti Kapoor in significant roles. Backed by T-series, Bhadrakali Pictures and Cine1studios, the film was released worldwide on December 1, 2023. Besides Animal, Bobby Deol has earlier gained appreciation for his performance in Prakash Jha’s Aashram.
