After Ranveer Singh’s new look from Dhurandhar leaked online, security tightened

Ranveer Singh fans have been excited ever since director Aditya Dhar announced his next venture, Dhurandhar, with Ranveer. Adding to the excitement, Ranveer’s first look from the film has been leaked, showcasing the actor in the role of a Sikh.  But after the pictures from the sets were leaked, security has been tightened.

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is currently busy shooting for his next action-adventure film titled Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar. Ranveer’s first look from the film as a Sikh has leaked online, much to the dismay of the makers.

After the incident, the makers told Mid-day that the security has been tightened and minimum phone policy for everyone has been applied. The makers added that the looks were supposed to be revealed in a grand campaign, and they shot the scenes in another city to avoid such a leak.

Fans compare Ranveer's look with his role as Kjilji

On the other hand, Ranveer's look has created intrigue among the audience for the upcoming film.  In one picture, Ranveer is dressed in a dark coloured kurta, with long hair, indulging in an action sequence with a gun in his hand. In another picture, Ranveer is dressed in a pink turban and has sported a long beard.

This look has reminded Ranveer’s fans of his Khilji avatar in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. Sharing the picture on X (formerly known as Twitter), a user wrote, “Ranveer ka Khilji look waapas aa gaya aur itna intense lag raha hai! Big screen par jaldi dekhne ka intezaar nahi ho raha!” Another commented, “I still can't get over how amazing Ranveer looked as #Khilji! So excited to see him bring that power back!” Others compared it to Ranbir Kapoor from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal. One wrote, “He was Animal before Animal.”

Helmed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar features Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal. The makers announced the making of Dhurandhar by sharing a collage of pictures of star cast on social media. The caption said, “This is what movie dreams are made of! Helmed by#RanveerSingh, directed by #AdityaDhar, this much-anticipated collaboration between #JioStudios and #B62Studios is all set to dazzle you with a stellar cast like never before.”

Aditya Dhar has directed films such as Article 370 and Uri: The Surgical Strike.
