After Ranveer Singh joined Deepika Padukone in Cannes 2022, latter thought of turning it into an annual vacay

Earlier this month, the gorgeous Deepika Padukone headed to France after being appointed as a jury member at the 75th Cannes Film Festival 2022 . As expected, the actress made heads turn with her back to back stunning red carpet ensembles. She began with an exquisite couture saree by Sabyasachi, went on to raise the temperature in a red Louis Vuitton creation with a plunging neckline and recently set the internet on fire in a black feather gown. Well, soon after she shared a snap of herself in the red hot number, her husband Ranveer Singh decided to join her in Cannes.

Well, in a recent chat with Film Companion, Deepika revealed that they are now thinking of turning the annual film festival into an annual vacay for themselves! The actress was quoted saying, “Ranveer and I usually do two holidays in a year--one we try and do in June-July and the other at the end of the year. After this experience I said to him 'I said there's no reason for us to go anywhere else or be anywhere else, we just come here every year for two weeks, watch all these movies'.”

She went on to explain, “And that's our thing, we love watching movies. What more can you ask for as an actor where you have dedicated time without guilt without having to think about 'Oh I have shoot the next day, or I have the brand commitment the next day'.” Deepika went on to add that Ranveer is welcome to walk the carpet on her behalf and is sure that her husband will ace it.

On the movie front, Ranveer won hearts in his recently released film Jayeshbhai Jordaar. He will next be seen in Rohit Shetty ’s Cirkus and Karan Johar ’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani . Deepika, on the other hand, has an equally enviable line up which includes Pathaan and Fighter amongst other projects.
