Malaika Arora’s ex-husband Arbaaz Khan recently tied the knot with makeup artist Sshura Khan.A fews days later, Bollywood diva was asked if she also has a plan of getting married again. It so happened that her close friend Farah Khan on dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 asked about the chances of her shifting from single-parent-cum actress to double parent-cum-actress status.
In the video surfaced online, Farah asked, “2024 mein Malaika, kya aap single parent-cum-actress se double parent-cum-actress banne wali hain?” Malaika first failed to understand the question but when Farah explained her, she said she will get marrid if she finds someone. The choreographer questioned.“Koi hai matlab? Bohot hai (there are many such people).” Malaika then answered, “Matlab koi puche shadi k liye mai kar lungi (I will do it if they ask me to). Once bitten, twice very shy.”

For the unversed, Malaika is currently dating Arjun Kapoor. They have been together for a long time now. There have been speculations about their wedding, however, the couple has maintained that they will take one step at a time. However, going by her latest statement, it seems the actress is awaiting Arjun’s marriage proposal.

Malaika had earlier too opened up about the idea of getting married again. “Of course, I have thought about it. People think that I might be cynical about getting married again, but that’s far from true. I believe in the institution, I believe in love and companionship...all of it. I can’t answer when I will get married again, because I believe in leaving some aspects of one’s life as a surprise and not planning too much. Planning things constantly sucks the joy out of life,” she told Brides Today.
Meanwhile, workwise, Malaika was recently seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan in a special appearance. The film stars Ananya Panday, Sidhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. She is currently judging Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 11.
