Apart from being an actress herself, Ananya Panday is a star kid who has been brought up in and around the film industry. She is in as much awe of superstars as the rest of us, and is a self declared movie buff. Well, yesterday on the occasion of veteran actress Rekha ’s birthday, Ananya shared a cute fan-made post. It featured a childhood picture of Rekha holding baby Ananya in her arms, and a recent snap from an awards function. Along with this, she shared a sweet message which read: “Then and now- forever a fan girl. happy birthday to the ULTIMATE queen Rekha ji.”
A day after fangirling over the evergreen beauty, Ananya has now shared a precious birthday wish for legend Amitabh Bachchan . The young actress attended Film Heritage Foundation's four-day film festival, called Bachchan Back To The Beginning, which celebrates the megastar and his 80 years on earth. Ananya was joined by her BFF Shanaya Kapoor, her father Chunky Panday and Shabana Azmi along with several others. She took to her social media handle to share a glimpse from the theatre full of audience that went crazy while watching Amar Akbar Anthony on the silver screen.
In the caption below, Ananya not only wished Big B a happy birthday but also remembered his late co-star Rishi Kapoor. She wrote: “@amitabhbachchan sir HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEGEND 🤍 I got to watch ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ in theatres in 2022 with my Papa who had seen it 20 times in theatres when it released in 1977 🥹 we got to experience the film with the best @azmishabana18 ji watching the film with us (you can hear someone screaming - woh ladki idhar hai - when she comes on screen 😋) We miss you, it was magical seeing you on screen Rishi ji, Vinod ji & Parveen ji 🫶🏼 love you @neetu54 ji 💕.”
