Ae Watan Mere Watan Trailer: Sara Ali Khan and her convincing performance leaves you with goosebumps; watch

When Sara Ali Khan began her journey in Bollywood, she left audiences spellbound with her convincing performance in Kedarnath. She went on to win hearts with Love Aaj Kal and Atrangi Re, but the magic was still missing. Well, the trailer of her next film Ae Watan Mere Watan is now out, and once again we see the same spark and passion in Sara’s on-screen performance. Directed by Kannan Iyer and co-produced by Karan Johar, this historic thriller drama follows the story of a young brave Indian girl who fights against the British, as well as her father, for her country.

The two minutes fifty two seconds trailer of the Amazon original movie begins with a glimpse of British brutality on Indians during their reign in our country. Sara, who plays a brave Gandhi follower, sets out to fight for freedom. Even if it means fighting against her own father. May it be protests or raising her voice against violence she’s up for everything, all for freedom from the British raj. One fine day she and her friends, which include Jamtara actor Sparsh Shrivastav, decide to begin their own radio– by the country, for the country.

What makes Sara’s performance so convincing as freedom fighter Usha Mehta, who makes her voice heard through her own radio, is the passion in her eyes. The dialogue delivery is wonderful thanks to the actress’ command over Hindi language, whereas her expressions are on point. Even netizens are pretty impressed by the trailer of Ae Watan Mere Watan.
