‘Aaradhya is very assured’: Navya Naveli Nanda opens up about Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s daughter

Bollywood royalty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan never tried to keep their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan hidden from the paparazzi, like many new parents do. In fact, the star kid has made several public appearances with her mother– may it be at the Cannes film festival or at the airport. But not much is known about Aish and Abhi’s 12 year old daughter. Well, in her recent interview, Abhishek’s niece Navya Naveli Nanda opened up about her cousin sister Aaradhya for the first time, describing her as a mature individual.

In a chat with News 18, when asked to share one piece of advice for Aaradhya, Navya replied, “I don’t know if I would give her advice. I feel she’s far wiser than I was when I was 12. She’s very intelligent and I think more aware of things than I was maybe at her age. So it’s actually great to see that entire generation grow up being so much more aware of the world, so much more aware of society and things around them so, I don’t know what advice I would give her.”

Navya further stated that she admires how at such a young age, Aaradhya is incredibly wise and very aware of things around her. She went on to add, “Just happy to have a younger sister in the house to share things with but I don’t think I can give her advice, she is very assured, confident, and pretty aware of what’s going on so I think that’s a very commendable thing.”

On the work front, Navya returned with the second season of her podcast What The Hell Navya some time back. While she continues making strides as an entrepreneur, her brother Agastya Nanda recently made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix film The Archies, co-starring Khushi Kapoor and Suhana Khan.
