We love you Halsey! BTS ARMY sends support after singer reveals health struggles
This support is extremely welcome since Halsey has demonstrated a unique friendship with BTS — specifically, with rapper SUGA.
BTS with Halsey
Singer Halsey shocked all after she (the singer goes by she/they pronouns) revealed how they are "lucky to be alive." The 'Without Me' hitmaker announced a new single, 'The End,' on Tuesday (June 4), surprising fans by admitting to serious health issues.

The 29-year-old pop star shared the single from her fifth studio album on Instagram, writing, "Long story short, I'm lucky to be alive. Short story long, I wrote an album. It begins with The End. Out now."
Though Halsey refrained from sharing specifics about her illness, many were taken aback when she tagged leukaemia and lupus awareness organizations. She also released a video that chronicled her medical experiences.
Soon after the video went viral, ARMY, the BTS fanbase, created a trend on X (formerly known as Twitter) by writing, "We love you, Halsey." This support is extremely welcome since Halsey has demonstrated a unique friendship with BTS — specifically, with rapper SUGA aka AGUST D aka Min Yoongi.
Halsey also posted a picture of herself (the singer goes by she/they pronouns) wearing a mask on the first day of treatment, a text exchange featuring their latest single, a snippet of them playing acoustic guitar in the dark while recording 'The End,' and a compilation of emotional moments from their treatment journey and the creation of their new song.
This isn't the first time the 'Boy In Luv' star has been candid about their health struggles. In May 2022, Halsey revealed that they had been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren's syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome, and POTS (postural tachycardia syndrome). Halsey has also opened up about living with endometriosis.
BTS SUGA and Halsey's friendship:
Halsey and BTS have had a strong friendship since they collaborated on the hit song "Boy With Luv." However, her relationship with SUGA has been even more special. The rapper featured on Halsey's song "SUGA's Interlude" from her album "Manic." The two collaborated again on the song "Lilith (Diablo IV Anthem)."
Halsey even made a guest appearance at Agust D's concert, where they performed "SUGA's Interlude" live for the first time. She then took to Instagram to explain why she calls the BTS member "twin."
"After knowing each other for seven years, I call Suga ‘twin’ for a lot of reasons. We have the same smile, we have a lot of shared interests, and sometimes we even have the same haircut. But I mostly say it because we seem strangely (and sometimes wordlessly) connected on a creative wavelength," she said.
