AHS: Delicate, the 12th season in FX's hit horror anthology from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, was split into two parts due to the dual Hollywood strikes in 2023. The first five episodes concluded in October 2023, and now the final four episodes will kick off weekly beginning April 3.

The trailer for the second half of the season of AHS: Delicate reveals that viewers will finally receive answers regarding the mysteries surrounding the starring trio portrayed by Emma Roberts, Kim Kardashian, and Cara Delevingne.

A Glimpse into Anna Alcott's Descent

The new footage with a Satanic cult theme confirms that something is deeply amiss with rising actress Anna Alcott, portrayed by Roberts. She is shown snacking on bones and imagining spiders crawling out of her pregnant belly. In the first half of the season, Anna struggled with the conflict between her aspirations for Oscar-level acting and her desire for a family.

In the new footage, Anna confides in her best friend and publicist, Siobhan Corbyn, portrayed by Kim Kardashian, expressing her willingness to sacrifice "anything" for fame. Their tumultuous relationship is depicted further as they share a kiss in one moment, only for Siobhan to slap Anna in the face in another.

Adapting Delicate Condition for Television

This season's psychological horror narrative is a departure, as it's the first time the series draws inspiration from a novel: Danielle Valentine's Delicate Condition, adapted by showrunner Halley Feiffer. The novel revolves around a pregnant actress (Roberts) who becomes convinced that a malevolent entity is determined to prevent her pregnancy from coming to fruition.

Kardashian and Delevingne made their debut on AHS, whereas Roberts, who had previously appeared in cycles like Coven, Freak Show, Cult, Apocalypse, and 1984, returned after a four-year break. Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Matt Czuchry, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Maaz Ali, and Juliana Canfield complete the main cast.

AHS: Delicate airs its last four episodes weekly on FX every Wednesday, with streaming available the following day on Hulu.
