Run Jin: Ahead of Yeonjun's special appearance on the show, a look at how BTS and TXT members mirror each other
Interestingly, even before this announcement, both fandoms ARMY and MOA on social media shared videos highlighting the similarities between members of BTS and TXT.
BTS and TXT
After finishing his South Korean military duties, BTS' eldest member Kim Seokjin has been busy with various activities, including appearing on shows, signing brand deals, and preparing for his solo album. Adding to his list of engagements is the group's variety show, "RUN BTS," which was paused due to the members enlisting but has now returned as "Run Jin." The show follows Jin as he plays games, completes challenges, and carries out secret missions to earn prizes or face penalties.
Recently, it was announced that in Episode 4, Jin will be joined by TOMORROW X TOGETHER's (TXT) Yeonjun, YouTuber Kwak Joon-bin, and retired MMA fighter Kim Dong-hyung. TXT is another boy group under BIGHIT MUSIC, which is the same agency representing BTS.
Interestingly, even before this announcement, both fandoms ARMY and MOA on social media shared videos highlighting the similarities between members of BTS and TXT. For example, fans believe Soobin and Jin are quite similar, while Taehyun and Jungkook share a similar cuteness. Many also think V (Taehyung) has a younger counterpart in Beomgyu.
These videos have been trending on X (formerly known as Twitter) for all the right reasons. The videos not just show their goofy sides, but also affirm how the two groups share a close bond that even their habits have passed on to each other.
