As the Paris Olympics come to an end, numerous videos and photos from the Summer Games have been making waves on social media. Among them, a video that consistently gains traction every time an archery event airs shows a girl competing in an archery contest from 2018.

Currently, a video gaining significant attention is from the X (formerly known as Twitter) handle @ayeejuju, with the caption "Who is this???" It has amassed an impressive 24.2 million views. In the clip, the girl is seen aiming with her bow and arrow, smiling before taking her shot, and then smiling again in response to her near-perfect aim.

    Who is Chou Tzuyu?

Fans captivated by her precision and smile have been inquiring about her on X. So, who is she? The girl in the video is Chou Tzuyu, a member of the South Korean K-pop girl group TWICE. The footage is from South Korea's Idol Championship in 2018, a sports event where K-pop idols compete against each other.

Born in Tainan, Taiwan, Tzuyu developed an early passion for the performing arts and has been supported both emotionally and financially by her parents. Her talent was recognized when JYP Entertainment scouts discovered her during a workshop.

Seeking greater opportunities, Tzuyu moved to South Korea and began rigorous training to hone her skills. Her breakthrough came through the reality survival show "Sixteen", designed to select members for JYP Entertainment's new girl group, TWICE.

She secured a spot in the nine-member group, where her impressive dance moves and charming personality helped her carve out a distinct place within the group and among fans.

She along with the other members Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun and Chaeyoung has gone on world tours being one of the top K-pop groups.

Recently, on August 2, JYP Entertainment announced that the 25-year-old Tzuyu will be making her solo debut with her first mini album, "aboutTZU".

The captivating video features the Taiwanese singer exploring a mysterious house, accompanied by softly spoken lines: "On a day unseen by anyone, I'm a believer, a dreamer. Trust me. Before I give you my all, I will ask one last time."

Later in the clip, she retrieves a cassette tape from a puddle in the rain, then pretends to shoot an imaginary bow and arrow while gazing directly into the camera. "So, are you ready?" she asks. The teaser has generated significant excitement, with many fans eagerly anticipating the album's release.

Tzuyu will become the third TWICE member to go solo. Bandmate Nayeon was the first, releasing the mini-album "IM NAYEON" with the single 'POP!' in 2022. The second was Jihyo, who last year released the project "ZONE" as well as the single 'Killin' Me Good'.
