NewJeans, BIBI to ZEROBASEONE: 1st lineup of artists for Asia Artist Awards (AAA) 2024

    The Asia Artist Awards (AAA) 2024 are scheduled for December 27 at Thammasat Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. On October 9, the event revealed its first lineup of performers for the 9th Asia Artist Awards, announcing that BIBI, NCT 127, NewJeans, QWER, WayV, and ZEROBASEONE will be gracing this year's ceremony.

    With performances from NewJeans, ZEROBASEONE, NCT 127, WayV, QWER, and BIBI, attendees can expect an energetic celebration. Additionally, IVE's Jang Won Young and ZEROBASEONE's Sung Han Bin, who hosted last year's awards, have been confirmed to return as MCs for this year's event.

    About each group:

    NewJeans, who debuted in 2022, have recently released tracks like "Bubble Gum" and their Japanese debut "Supernatural." The five-member K-pop group boasts a series of chart-toppers, including "ETA," "Super Shy," "Attention," "OMG," "Ditto," "Get Up," "Cool With You," and "Hype Boy."

    On the other hand, ZEROBASEONE made their debut in July 2023 and recently launched their EP "CINEMA PARADISE." The boy group has achieved remarkable success, hitting 1 million sales with four consecutive albums.

    BIBI, a powerful soloist in the K-pop scene, is celebrated for her versatility and stage presence. Her popular songs include "Very, Slowly," "BIBI Vengeance," and "PADO."

    Though underrated, QWER is an exceptionally talented girl group that debuted in 2023, showcasing their skills with tracks like "Discord," "SODA," and "FAKE IDOL."

    Meanwhile, NCT 127 released their sixth full-length album "WALK" in July, garnering explosive popularity. Another NCT sub-unit, WayV, dropped their fifth mini-album "Give Me That" in June, achieving impressive rankings on global and domestic charts such as Circle, Oricon, MelOn, and iTunes.
