Meet BADVILLAIN - The 7-member K-pop girl group all set to make their debut in June

After making waves even before their debut, but for the wrong reasons, the upcoming girl group BADVILLAIN is set to debut on June 3, 2024, with their single album, "OVERSTEP" under BPM Entertainment. On June 1, the group sent the K-pop world into a frenzy by dropping their 2nd teaser video titled "BADVILLAIN - 'BADVILLAIN' MV Teaser #2" on their YouTube channel.

In the teaser, fans get a glimpse of the seven members: Huey, Yunseo, Kelly, Chloe Young, Bean, Ina, and Emma. Let's meet each member individually.

Emma:

Birth Name: Song Hyemin

Position(s): Main Dancer, Rapper

Emma, born on April 26, 2000, grew up in Vancouver, Canada. She was officially introduced as a member of the group on May 17, 2024. In addition to being a fan of musicians like Rihanna, Tinashe, Doja Cat, and Megan Thee Stallion, BoA serves as her role model.

Chloe Young:

Birth Name: Chloe Duong

Position(s): Main Rapper, Dancer

This Korean-Canadian, who was born on October 31, 2001, worked as a choreographer before joining the group. On May 16, 2024, she was formally announced as a member. Chloe Young has showcased her dance skills at renowned studios such as 1MILLION Dance Studio, 7HILLS Dance Studio, JustJerk Dance Academy, Prepix Dance Studio, and YGX.

HU'E:

Birth Name: Kim Inhye

Position(s): Vocalist, Dancer

Born on November 20, 2003, in Incheon, South Korea, she had previously participated in the reality show 'My Teenage Girl'. She was officially introduced as a member on May 16, 2024. She shares friendships with Lee Mihee, Kim Hari, Song Yerim, CLASS:y's Hong Hyeju and Boeun.

INA:

Birth Name: Jeong I Na

Position(s): Dancer, Rapper

Born in Sydney, Australia on June 8, 2004, she was formally presented as a member on May 16, 2024. She used to be passionate about basketball, swimming, and gymnastics among other sports during her younger days.

YunSeo:

Birth Name: Kim Yunseo

Position(s): Rapper, Vocalist

Born in Seoul, South Korea, on July 3, 2004, she also participated in the reality show 'My Teenage Girl' as a participant. Her role models include BLACKPINK's Jennie, Heize, and Ariana Grande. On May 17, 2024, YunSeo, a former trainee of SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and FNC Entertainment, was formally presented as a member of BADVILLAIN.

Vin:

Birth Name: Choi Seobin

Position(s): Vocalist

Born on November 27, 2004, she is the younger sister of Golden Child's Choi Bomin. On May 17, 2024, after a year and a half of training, she was formally welcomed as a member of BADVILLAIN. Vin has honed her dance skills at MOVE Dance Studio.

Kelly:

Birth Name: Ha Seoyeon

Position(s): Vocalist, Maknae

Born on June 16, 2006, she was officially revealed as a member on May 16, 2024. She passed her auditions at SWING Entertainment, n.CH Entertainment, and Interpark Music. Kelly also attended Def Dancing Skool to receive her dance training.
