Jin to make Netflix debut! ARMY excited as BTS singer to star in new variety show
The show, featuring webtoon writer and broadcaster Kian84 and producer Jeong Hyo Min, is set to premiere in 2025.
BTS' Jin to make Netflix debut
Adding another variety show to his impressive portfolio, BTS' eldest member Kim Seokjin is preparing for his Netflix debut. Jin will make a guest appearance on the upcoming variety show, "KIAN's Bizarre B&B" (대환장 기안장), a new-concept guesthouse series where Kian84 runs an extraordinary guesthouse on Ulleungdo Island for young guests. Actress Ji Ye Eun, known for her breakout role on Coupang Play's SNL Korea, will also join the cast.
According to Xsport News, the show, featuring webtoon writer and broadcaster Kian84 and producer Jeong Hyo Min, is set to premiere in 2025. Kian84, whose real name is Kim Hee Min, is renowned for creating the popular webtoon 'Fashion King' and his humorous appearances on shows like 'I Live Alone' and 'Around the World While I Was Born'.
As for Ji Ye Eun, who has appeared on shows like 'Running Man', 'Knowing Bros', and 'King of Masked Singer', is also confirmed for the show. Netflix confirmed the appearances of Jin and Ji Ye Eun but has not disclosed filming dates for safety reasons.
With Jin joining the lineup, excitement for the show is growing and ARMY can't keep calm, having been fed with content since his military discharge in June. Fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to keep praising the singer for making new appearances.

Aside from this Netflix project, Jin is also involved in other TV ventures. MBC recently teased his new show, "Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island", which features Jin and his close friend Sandeul from B1A4 in a challenging survival adventure on an island, premiering globally on August 19. Additionally, he stars in the BTS Run spin-off, Run Jin, his solo entertainment show.
After his role as a torchbearer at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, Jin has achieved another milestone by being appointed as Seoul's tourism ambassador. Initially spotted on social media, a poster featuring Jin promoting Seoul tourism has now been officially confirmed, making him the Honorary Tourism Ambassador of Seoul.
