There is no denying that Bangtan Sonyeondan, aka BTS, is one of the best boy groups of this era. They have captured the hearts of many around the globe with their songs and chart-topping hits. Their fandom ARMY have kept supporting them despite the seven members being enlisted in the South Korean military service.

Currently, the members are fulfilling their mandatory duties but have also embarked on solo journeys and released solo albums. While fans enjoy these solo ventures, songs have also been released by only BTS's vocal line.

What is the vocal line of BTS? It comprises four vocalists: Kim Seokjin, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, and Jeon Jungkook.

Each has a unique voice and texture that adds a distinctive charm to their music. While Jungkook's voice is light, crystal clear, velvety smooth, and flowing, Taehyung's low to mid-range voice is unique, thick, dark, and airy. On one hand, Jimin has a beautiful tenor voice and is a master of high notes and falsetto. Jin, the eldest member, is known as the 'Silver Voice' due to his exceptional control over his breathing and ability to easily switch between head and true voices.

So let's take a look at some of the best songs by only the vocal line, leaving out the rappers—Kim Namjoon, Min Yoongi, and Jung Hoseok.

    Lost:

This song, released on October 10, 2016, is the 10th track from their second studio album 'Wings' and repackaged album 'You Never Walk Alone'. The lyrics are deeply meaningful to anyone in their twenties navigating the intricacies of adulthood, and the chorus catches the spirit of feeling lost and apprehensive about the future. The song's tragic lyrics and expressive delivery make it a relatable anthem for young adults.

    Bad Decisions:

This collaborative digital track, which was released on August 5, 2022, features Benny Blanco, BTS (Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook), and Snoop Dogg. The song playfully depicts die-hard ARMYs who will attend BTS concerts regardless of the circumstances. Its lively and infectious vibe reflects BTS's lighter side while also recognizing its fans' unwavering support.

    Dimple:

This single, also known as Illegal, is one of BTS' most seductive and appears on their 'Love Yourself: Her' album. It was released on September 18, 2017, and features flirty lyrics which describe the seduction of a lover's dimples. Interestingly, RM, who wrote the song, said that it was inspired by his own dimples. The song also features sexy dancing, which ARMY enjoys.

    00:00 (Zero O'Clock):

BTS released this calming and positive single on February 21, 2020. It is from their fourth studio album, 'Map of the Soul: 7'. The song is also the 13th track on CD2 of BTS's debut anthology album, 'Proof'. The lyrics reflect on a difficult day and comfort listeners that a bad day does not equal an unhappy life. It provides optimism for a new beginning with each new day.

The Truth Untold (ft. Steve Aoki):

This song, released on May 18, 2018, is the third single on BTS' 'Love Yourself: Tear' and the tenth on CD A of 'Love Yourself: Answer'. The title, "Sincerity That Couldn't Be Delivered," refers to the fictitious smeraldo flower, which represents "the truth I couldn't tell." Inspired by the Italian classic 'La Città di Smeraldo', the song depicts the story of a man who, after hiding from the world and falling in love with a woman who steals from his garden, grows smeraldo to gift to her—only for her to die before they meet.
