With so many K-pop groups debuting every year, and now reaching the 5th generation, fans have either remained loyal to only their favourite group or have been "multis," choosing to listen to a variety of groups and simply enjoy the music. Amid this, one thing is certain: the leader of the group has to keep their members strong and act as a spokesperson for various events.

For weeks, the renowned Brazilian entertainment website Dabeme has conducted a poll allowing fans to vote for the best leaders in the genre from a pool of 100 nominees. Recently, the poll concluded, amassing over three million votes, and the outcomes were revealed on Dabeme's official X (formerly known as Twitter). Here are the top 10 leaders in K-Pop, according to the poll results.

EJ

Byun Eui Joo, born on September 7, 2002, is the leader of the boy group &TEAM under HYBE Labels Japan. EJ placed 10th in the poll with a total of 137,671 votes.

Hongjoong

Kim Hong Joong, born on November 7th, 1998, is the leader of the boy group ATEEZ under KQ Entertainment. Hongjoong placed 9th in the poll with a total of 140,256 votes.

Jay B

Lim Jae Beom, born on January 6, 1994, is a soloist and the leader/member of GOT7. On October 6, 2023, he signed an exclusive contract with Mob Company. Jay B placed 8th in the poll with a total of 145,536 votes.

Vinci

Gabriel Vincent Malizon, born on March 11th, 2000, is the leader and Main Vocalist of HORI7ON under MLD Entertainment, ABS-CBN, and KAMP Korea. Vinci placed 7th in the poll with a total of 170,492 votes.

Jungwon

Yang Jung-won, born on February 9, 2004, is the leader of the boy group ENHYPEN, which debuted on November 30, 2020, under BELIFT LAB. Jungwon placed 6th in the poll with a total of 174,086 votes.

Bang Chan

Bang Christopher Chan, born on October 3, 1997, is the leader of the South Korean boy group Stray Kids under JYP Entertainment. He was also part of the hip-hop trio 3RACHA. Bang Chan placed 5th in the poll with a total of 181,852 votes.

JinJin

Park Jin Woo, born on March 15, 1996, is the leader of the Korean group ASTRO and the sub-unit JINJIN & ROCKY. JinJin placed 4th in the poll with a total of 205,801 votes.

Keita

Terazono Keita, born on July 4th, 2001, is the leader of EVNNE, the boy group formed by Jellyfish Entertainment. Keita placed 3rd in the poll with a total of 254,616 votes.

Woosung

Kim Woo Sung, born on February 25th, 1993, is the leader of the band The Rose. Woosung placed 2nd in the poll with a total of 288,369 votes.

RM

Kim Nam Joon, born on September 12, 1994, is the leader of the South Korean boy group BTS and a rapper under Big Hit Music. RM placed 1st in the poll with a total of 399,516 votes.
