BTS on hiatus, not their fans! Watch these K-Pop groups dance to the global sensation's top hits
Some K-pop groups have shown their love for the 7-member boy group by dancing to BTS' old songs and viral hits.
BTS and K-pop groups
After releasing their anthology album in June 2022, BTS—the biggest band in the world—shocked everyone by announcing they were taking a break from making music as a group to pursue solo projects. They also mentioned that they would be completing their mandatory military duties in South Korea.
While ARMY has been nothing but proud of the seven members—Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, and Jeon Jungkook—they have also ensured that BTS's songs continue to chart worldwide.
Amidst this, some K-pop groups have also shown their love to the 7-member boy group by dancing to BTS' old songs and viral hits, with some even participating in dance challenges for the members' solo tracks. Let's see who danced to what.
K-pop boy group ZEROBASEONE, under WakeOne, posted a video on their Instagram reel of Sung Han-bin and Kim Gyu-vin dancing to BTS's hit song "Make It Right."
ENHYPEN, under the same agency—HYBE—featured members Jay, Jake, and Sunghoon dancing to one of BTS's debut songs, "Attack on Bangtan."
BOYNEXTDOOR also joined in, with all six members—Jaehyun, Sungho, Riwoo, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak—dancing to BTS's song released on September 11, 2013.
The five-member Filipino boy group under MLD Entertainment, New:ID, saw members MACKY, WILSON, and JOM dance to BTS's youngest member Jungkook's solo track "Standing Next to You" and shared it on their group's Instagram reel.
Boy group DKB featured members Harry June and Lune taking on Jungkook's "Standing Next to You" dance challenge.
TWS, a new group under PLEDIS Entertainment, had Shinyu, Dohoon, and Jihoon showing their moves to Jungkook's song "3D."
The newly debuted seven-member girl group BADVILLAIN saw its members—Chloe Young, Emma, HU’E, INA, YunSeo, Vin, and Kelly—dance to BTS's song "ON."
The girl group X:IN saw its members Aria and Hannah dancing to "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band," a song by Jimin from his second solo album, "MUSE."
Nvee from the global K-pop girl group BLACKSWAN also danced to "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band," captioning it, "This song feels like SUNSHINE! I can’t help but smile."
Where are BTS members?
The six members—RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—are currently enlisted in the South Korean military, while the eldest member, Jin, was released from his duties in June 2024. The seven-member group has promised their fans that they will reunite by June 2025 and, since their enlistment, have kept ARMY engaged with pre-recorded content, ensuring they don’t miss them too much.
