The Grammys are awarded annually by the Recording Academy, an organization composed of music professionals representing various genres across the industry. For many years, the awards predominantly recognized winners of white skin tone, gradually expanding to include Black artists. However, when it comes to Asians, it still seems to take time, as there have been only a few winners over the years.

Now, as discussions for the 2025 Grammys are underway, one of the world’s biggest boy groups—Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS)—has been submitting entries since the global success of their hit song "DYNAMITE," which was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2021 Grammy Awards.

As always, they were not awarded the win they deserved, and the saga continued. However, now, in Chapter 2 of BTS, with six of the seven members serving in the South Korean military, 5 members - RM, Jungkook, V, J-Hope, and Jimin - have submitted their solo work for consideration.
