The wait is almost over for the latest chapter of Bridgerton, and a fresh clip from season 3 offers fans a glimpse into Anthony and Kate's married life for the first time. The scene unfolds with Francesca (played by Hannah Dodd), now a mature young woman, being pursued by numerous suitors at a ball and turning to her brother for solace.
In the clip, Francesca gracefully requests Anthony (played by Jonathan Bailey) that she wants to speak to her brother privately. "Of course," the head of the Bridgerton household responds before his gaze meets that of his wife, Viscountess Kate Bridgerton (Simone Ashley). From the instant he catches sight of his wife, it's evident that the Viscount's attention is solely on her.
A Glimpse into Bridgerton's Season 3
With a smile, Anthony approaches Kate. The Viscount and Viscountess then share a dance, while a disappointed-looking Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) observes. Anthony even manages to steal a cheeky kiss from his wife before the clip concludes. While Netflix's first look at Kate and Anthony, released Wednesday, only briefly features Penelope and completely overlooks Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), Penelope will play a central role in the story of season 3.
In season 3, Penelope relinquishes her long-held crush on Colin Bridgerton after hearing his disparaging remarks about her in the previous season. She has decided it's time to find a husband, preferably one who will grant her enough independence to maintain her double life as Lady Whistledown.

However, Penelope's efforts on the marriage market are met with spectacular failure due to her lack of confidence. Meanwhile, Colin returns from his summer travels with a newfound confidence and swagger. Yet, he's disheartened to discover that Penelope, the one person who always accepted him for who he was, is now giving him the cold shoulder.
Meanwhile, Penelope grapples with the persistent rift between her and her best friend, Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie), following Eloise's discovery of Penelope's secret identity as Lady Whistledown at the end of season 2.
