Usher ties the knot with longtime ladylove Jennifer Goicoechea, singer's mother turns witness in Las Vegas ceremony

Singer and songwriter Usher tied the knot with his longtime ladylove Jennifer Goicoechea in Las Vegas on February 11, 2024, wherein the singer also performed at the Super Bowl. According to a news report in People, married at Vegas Weddings’ Terrace Gazebo which is an outdoor chapel. The singer’s mother Jonetta Patton turned witness at the wedding according to their marriage certificate.

Usher’s representative confirmed to the publication via a statement that said, “We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family. They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love and thank everyone for the well wishes.” The ‘OMG’ singer was spotted wearing band soon after that. Usher on his relationship with Jennifer Goicoechea

The ‘Good Good’ singer had recently spoken about his relationship with Jennifer with the same publication. He said, “Listen, when you find someone that you know is a great partner, of course, it is an honor and a pleasure to be able to share life with someone who wants to share it with you and loves you, who you are. We've obviously made a commitment to life for life together because of our children. It wouldn't be odd for us to get married. We already did here. You know what I'm saying? And we're going to be in each other's lives until we die, obviously, because we have something to share. That's beautiful. Our children. But not because of that. I really do feel like I have an amazing partner that I respect.”

He further called Jennifer his best friend and said, “I started this journey, I found and met an amazing partner who happened to be my best friend and was there all the time, and I was like, wow, this could be great.” The couple first started dating in 2018. They have a daughter Sovereign Bo and a son Sire Castrello who were born in 2020 and 2021 respectively.
