Sabrina Carpenter shares snapshot from Sydney zoo trip with Taylor Swift

Sabrina Carpenter is saying farewell to the Eras Tour. Over the weekend, the singer shared an Instagram post showcasing some of the last moments of her stint as an opening act on Taylor Swift's record-setting world tour. In one snapshot, Carpenter and Swift were seen enjoying a visit to the Sydney Zoo during their time in Australia.
Additional images depicted Carpenter onstage during her performances and showing support for her team backstage. "That’s a wrap for us on the Eras Tour " Carpenter began her heartfelt caption. She expressed gratitude to Swift for providing her with the opportunity, thanked the fans for their unwavering support, and extended appreciation to the hardworking crew of the Eras Tour.

Swift initially announced that the Disney Channel alum would join her as an opening act for the Eras Tour in June 2023. Carpenter was revealed as an opener for international dates in Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil, with Australia and Singapore later added in a subsequent announcement.
Since then, the bond between the two singers appears to have strengthened during their time touring together. Earlier this month, when Carpenter's opening act was canceled due to inclement weather delaying one of their Sydney shows, Swift and Carpenter delighted fans by performing a duet of Swift's songs White Horse and Coney Island.
Gratitude for Taylor Swift and a Dream Duet
Later on Instagram, Carpenter posted a clip of the performance and expressed gratitude to Swift for her support. She reflected on the surreal experience of performing a duet with the megastar, saying, Nine-year-old Sabrina singing 'White Horse' would never have imagined this moment.
In the same March 1 Instagram post, Carpenter acknowledged her enduring admiration for Swift's music. She shared an old Facebook screenshot from her page in 2009, reminiscing about her attempt to enter a Taylor Swift contest to win tickets and a chance to meet her, only to find out that she had to be 13 years old to participate.
