Megan Fox is revisiting her history of abusive relationships with well-known partners that she has never publicly disclosed. The Jennifer's Body actress explores the themes of toxic relationships and abuse in her latest poetry book, titled Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.

During a recent Good Morning America interview that aired on Tuesday, the 37-year-old Fox discussed her journey to finding a creative outlet to delve into her "horrific" past relationships.

    Unpublished Truths

"I've only been linked publicly to a few individuals, but I've shared my life with people who were, I guess you could say, pretty terrible. And also, these were very famous, highly recognizable people," Fox disclosed. "Yet, no one knows about my involvement with them." Megan Fox is currently engaged to musician Machine Gun Kelly (also known as Colson Baker) and has three children with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green.

The newly minted author shared with GMA that her fiancé, MGK, was a source of encouragement in her poetry-writing journey. She also mentioned that some of her poems remained unpublished due to her concerns about the potential scrutiny they might attract.

    The Reality of Relationships

In a recent conversation with PEOPLE, Megan Fox, who shares her experience of a miscarriage in her book and discusses her poetry, revealed, "Some of it is grounded in reality, while other parts are symbolic, yet it all deeply resonates with women. Relationships, as she explained, are far from fairy tales for most of us; they can be intricate, messy, and sometimes a battle.

Nevertheless, within these complex experiences lies the opportunity for personal growth, enabling one to emerge as a stronger and more complete version of oneself."

"My liberation thrives within these pages," she remarked. "I aspire to motivate others with my words, encouraging them to reclaim their joy and identity by using their voice to reveal what's been concealed in the shadows, never truly forgotten."
