Matthew Perry's Friends co-star Maggie Wheeler aka Janice mourns his loss, other celebrities react

The tragic demise of Friends actor Matthew Perry has left the entire Hollywood fraternity as well as his fans in a state of shock and gloom. Now, many members of the industry including those who have been associated with him professionally have been mourning his loss. While his main co-stars from Friends namely Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt Le Blanc, and David Schwimmer are yet to share any social media posts, one of the early tributes came from Maggie Wheeler who played the eccentric ex-girlfriend of Matthew’s character Chandler Bing on the show.

Talking about the same, Maggie shared a still of hers and Matthew from Friends. She captioned the same stating, “What a loss. The world will miss you Matthew Perry. The joy you brought to so many in your too short lifetime will live on. I feel so very blessed by every creative moment we shared.” Take a look at the post.

Mira Sorvino and Paget Brewster share their tributes

Actress Mira Sorvino who starred alongside Perry in the 1994 movie Parallel Lives wrote on Twitter, “Oh no!!! Matthew Perry!! You sweet, troubled soul. May you find peace and happiness in Heaven, making everyone laugh with your singular wit.” Paget Brewster who played the role of Kathy in season 4 of Friends stated, “I’m so very sad to hear about @MatthewPerry. He was lovely to me on Friends and every time I saw him in the decades after. Please read his book. It was his legacy to help. He won’t rest in peace though.. Actress and author Selma Blair shared a picture with the late actor and said, “My oldest boy friend. All of us loved Matthew Perry, and I did especially. Every day. I loved him unconditionally. And he me. And I’m broken. Broken hearted. Sweet dreams Matty. Sweet dreams.” Take a look at the post.

Matthew’s body was found in a hot tub inside his Los Angeles home on October 28, 2023. The police investigation surrounding his death in underway. Till now, there has been no sign of any foul play reportedly.
