    This Saturday, Billie Eilish officially acknowledged her recent disclosure about her sexuality in her cover story for Variety Power of Women. The Grammy-winning artist graced the red carpet at Variety's Hitmakers event, an exclusive celebration of the year's most significant songs. 

    During this appearance, she clarified that her intention was not to make a grand announcement about "coming out," underscoring the personal and nuanced nature of her revelation.

    Unveiling Identity

    "No, I didn't," Eilish responded. "But I kind of thought, 'Wasn't it obvious?' I didn't realize people didn't know. I just don't really believe in it. I'm just like, 'Why can't we just exist'? I've been doing this for a long time, and I just didn't talk about it. Whoops." Continuing, Eilish remarked, "But I saw the article, and I was like, 'Oh, I guess I came out today.' Okay, cool. It's exciting to me because I guess people didn't know, but it's cool that they know." She added, "I am for the girls."

    In the November feature for Variety, Eilish delved into her sentiments towards women, expressing to Variety's Katcy Stephan, "I've never truly felt a strong connection with girls. I have a deep appreciation for them, both as individuals and on a personal level. I am genuinely attracted to them."

    Opening up further, she elaborated, saying, "I share profound connections with the women in my life, whether they are friends or family. There's a physical attraction as well. However, I also find myself intimidated by their beauty and the captivating aura they exude."
