'How's everyone feeling, what'd I miss?': Ahsoka star, Ariana Greenblatt, gives candid reaction to her Star Wars debut
Ariana Greenblatt, the talent portraying young Ahsoka, doesn't hold back when expressing her feelings about joining the Star Wars universe. The recently released fifth episode of Star Wars: Ahsoka held a few surprises for fans, the first was the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Sylwaler returned to finish Ahsoka's Jedi training.
The second was a flashback to Ahsoka's time in the Clone Wars, the first-ever live-action portrayal of the popular animated series with the younger version of Ahsoka played by Ariana Greenblatt.
A Fresh Face in a Galactic Saga
The young actress is known for her roles in movies like In the Heights, 65, and most recently the billion-dollar blockbuster hit Barbie.
While the actor cannot publically talk about her Star Wars debit due to the WGA and SAG strike, she did take to her X account and posted "How's everyone feeling, what'd I miss?" after the episode premiered on Disney+.
Beyond the Lightsaber What the Future Holds
With just three more episodes to go, it remains to be seen if we will be seeing more of Anaking Skywalker and young Ahsoka but considering how things ended in the fifth episode there is a strong possibility that the answer will be yes.
Ahsoka is one of the most viewed shows on the streaming platform right row and has been receiving praise from Star Wars fans, which is no small feat.
The series focuses on Ahsoka Tano's search for the young Jedi Ezra Bridger, who allowed himself to be captured alongside the series' main antagonist Grand Admiral Thrawn in the series finale of the Star Wars Rebels series.
The series also marks the live-action debut of Thrawn a character from Star Wars novels made famous by his appearance in the animated series Stra Wars: Rebels.
Ahsoka is set five years after the fall of The Empire and we see Thrawn has returned and is gathering an Army.
The main cast of the series includes Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Ray Stevenson.
New episodes of the series will be available every Tuesday on Disney+.
