Hilary Duff is expecting her fourth child, announcing her pregnancy

The 36-year-old singer is expecting her fourth child, her third with husband Matthew Koma, as revealed in her Tuesday Instagram announcement. Hilary Duff shared the family's holiday card, showcasing a photo of her three kids and Koma in a bedroom setting. In the snapshot, she places her hand on her baby bump, sporting a surprised expression, while 4-year-old daughter Banks hangs from the bed's rafters and 2½-year-old daughter Mae sits on the ground with a guitar.

Embracing Parenthood

Koma also joined in sharing the exciting news on his Instagram, reposting the family's holiday photo. "Baby #4 is loading..." he captioned, humorously tagging the location as "Vasectomy clinic." Duff is the mother of their two daughters with Koma and a son named Luca with her ex-husband Mike Comrie.

The Younger actress had previously opened up about her experiences as a mom of three, expressing her affection for the delightful chaos. "I'm absolutely in love with all my kids," Duff shared. Reflecting on the challenges of welcoming a newborn, she mentioned after the arrival of daughter Mae, "It's a learning curve to throw a newborn into the mix. A lot of people have been like, 'That third kid really gets you.' And they're right!"

Navigating Parenthood Together

The ex-Disney star also shared her appreciation for having an incredible partner in Koma. "Right from the start, he proved to be an amazing dad," Duff revealed. "During this period of breastfeeding and chaos, he said, 'I'll just be your assistant because I believe that's the best way I can support you right now.' He has this incredible ability to see the bigger picture, whereas I tend to focus on the immediate moment – he has a broader perspective."

The duo first crossed paths while working together on her 2015 album, Breathe In. Breathe Out. They navigated an on-and-off relationship for several years before deciding to commit. Following the arrival of Banks in 2018, Duff, who had parted ways with ex-husband Comrie in 2014, started considering the idea of getting married once more.

Upon sending Koma a screenshot of a ring that caught her fancy, he pleasantly surprised her with a proposal in May 2019, and they exchanged vows that December.
