Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga trailer: Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy have an epic face-off in this actioner flick

The trailer of the much-awaited post-apocalyptic actioner Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is finally out now. The movie serves as a spin-off and prequel to the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road. It stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth in the lead roles.

Talking about the same, the movie revolves around a Furiosa played by Anya who is snatched away from the Green Place Of Many Mothers in her childhood by the warlord Dementus essayed by Hemsworth. In the present stage, Furiosa has dedicated her life to finding her way back home even if it means facing several threats and obstacles. We also hear a woman’s voice at the beginning of the trailer who asks for a promise from Furiosa that she will find her way back home. Take a look at the same.

Trailer receives thumbs up from fans

However, she soon finds herself locking horns with Dementus in an epic face-off. Anya and Chris look their intense best with the high-octane action sequences also keeping the essence of the Mad Max franchise intact. No sooner was the trailer than fans started praising the vision of director George Miller who has helmed the movie.

One of the fans stated, “I like George Miller because the camera is always steady and the action is always centered. I don't know why so many action directors refuse to do those two simple things.” Another netizen said, “Whether it be the aesthetics or how the scenes are shot, no one does post-apocalyptic films like George Miller.” A user added, “After seeing Fury Road, I’m convinced George Miller is one of the best action directors up there with James Cameron and Steven Spielberg. His films are a beautiful visual spectacles that make a strong case against streaming films and actually watching them in theaters.”

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is also the fifth movie in the franchise. It also stars Alyla Browne and Tom Burke. The movie will be released in Australia on May 23, 2024, and in the United States on May 24, 2023.
