The trailer of the much-awaited post-apocalyptic actioner Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is finally out now. The movie serves as a spin-off and prequel to the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road. It stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth in the lead roles.

Talking about the same, the movie revolves around a Furiosa played by Anya who is snatched away from the Green Place Of Many Mothers in her childhood by the warlord Dementus essayed by Hemsworth. In the present stage, Furiosa has dedicated her life to finding her way back home even if it means facing several threats and obstacles. We also hear a woman’s voice at the beginning of the trailer who asks for a promise from Furiosa that she will find her way back home. Take a look at the same.

However, she soon finds herself locking horns with Dementus in an epic face-off. Anya and Chris look their intense best with the high-octane action sequences also keeping the essence of the Mad Max franchise intact. No sooner was the trailer than fans started praising the vision of director George Miller who has helmed the movie.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is also the fifth movie in the franchise. It also stars Alyla Browne and Tom Burke. The movie will be released in Australia on May 23, 2024, and in the United States on May 24, 2023.
