David Fincher's The Killer hits Netflix tomorrow: here's what you should know

Among the highly awaited films of the year, "The Killer" stands out, directed by the Colorado-born Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee, David Fincher (known for "Mank," "Se7en," and "Zodiac"). Fincher's Long-Awaited Comeback:

The Killer marks David Fincher's return to the director's chair after a three-year hiatus, with his last film being Mank in 2020, also available on Netflix. Fincher's involvement with the project dates back to 2007 when it was initially established at Paramount. Notably, the graphic novel's first volume was published in 1998, but it remains uncertain which part of the series will serve as the movie's source material.

Originally, Fincher had selected the megastar Brad Pitt for the lead role, but due to prior commitments, Pitt had to step aside. The role has since found a new home with Michael Fassbender, who will be joined by his co-star Tilda Swinton.
