Lainey Wilson quickly made a splash, grabbing the Entertainer of the Year award at the CA Awards. It was only her second time being nominated for anything, and the first time she was up for the top prize. The rising star snagged the biggest award of the night.
Right off the bat, the big buzz at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena was all about Luke Combs covering Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car." He scored the first two awards televised for single of the year and song of the year.
The evening's lineup features a performance by Post Malone and Morgan Wallen, who will come together to present a medley of timeless country classics. Additionally, an all-star tribute honoring the legendary Jimmy Buffett will be led by Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Zac Brown, and the esteemed Buffett band member, Mac McAnally.
