Chelsea Handler clears up relationship rumors after seemingly introducing new boyfriend

Chelsea Handler is quieting the rumor buzz after posting a fun, lovey-dovey photo that got everyone chatting. The ex-Chelsea Lately star tossed up a pic on her Instagram Story, laying a friendly smooch on a bartender’s cheek.

 The bold text overlay? Just a cheeky shout-out of love, squashing rumors, and keeping things light and breezy on the relationship front.

A Picture Worth a Thousand Words

"This is my baby. He is full of love and positivity and his body is my wonderland," said the 48-year-old comedian seemingly in reference to Mayer's 2001 hit, "Your Body Is a Wonderland."

Later on Wednesday, Handler hopped back on Instagram to set things straight. The man in the photo? Not her boyfriend, just the bartender from nearby where she was staying in Mallorca, Spain.

A Humorous Confusion

The relationship mix-up occurred just a year after Handler and comedian Jo Koy called it quits in June 2022. The duo had made their relationship Instagram official in September 2021.

This past summer, Koy expressed his admiration for Handler in a conversation with Page Six.

"She’s a beautiful person, and, you know, we’re still friends," Koy shared.

Likewise, Handler discussed the conclusion of their relationship last December while on Brooke Shields's Now What? podcast.

"As the relationship neared its end, it just became evident that he wasn’t the one for me," she shared with the model/actress.
