Britney Spears’ tell-all memoir The Woman In Me revolves around the good and ugly aspects of her professional and personal life along with the conservatorship. Now, talk show host Megyn Kelly of The Megyn Kelly Show has opened up about the same. She was all praises for the hard-hitting book and said how it imparts many life lessons to young girls and their parents.
Megyn Kelly criticizes the celebrity obsession culture
Talking about the same, Megyn shared a video wherein she could be seen saying how there are many life lessons from The Woman In Me. She also blamed the obsession behind the celebrity culture by the media which leads to some of the horrors faced by the artists belonging to the industry. Kelly captioned the same stating, “There are actually a lot of life lessons in Britney Spears’ memoir. A lot of life lessons for people thinking about putting their child anywhere near the entertainment industry...We’ve only gotten more obsessed with celebrity... I put it on our disgusting media that can’t get off of the celebrity obsession.” Take a look at the same.

Furthermore, Megyn said about the ‘Toxic’ singer’s book, “I think there are actually a lot of life lessons in this thing, a lot of life lessons for people thinking about putting their child anywhere near the entertainment industry." Taking a sharp dig at Britney’s father Jaime Spears, she said, “Frankly, it’s a manual on how not to raise your children. The love was not unconditional." For the unversed, apart from her legal battle with her father surrounding her conservatorship, Spears also mentioned in her book that her father used to fat-shame her during her younger days.
Megyn added, “I look at this and I say I hope young girls read it. And I hope young parents read it." Apart from this, the ‘Gimme More’ singer also mentioned her abortion when she was in a relationship with singer Justin Timberlake. Britney was only 19 years of age when she had to get an abortion.
