ILLIT
Since their debut, ILLIT has faced criticism, especially from NewJeans fans after ADOR's former CEO, Min Hee Jin, stated they had copied her group's style. While many argued there was nothing in common between the two groups, NewJeans fans—known as Bunnies or Tokkis—have been adamant that ILLIT is trying to be NewJeans 2.0.
The fan wars between the two groups have only intensified after the drama between Min Hee Jin and HYBE reached a boiling point. Although the issue primarily involves the two top entities of the company, the girls from both groups are seemingly facing the heat. Adding fuel to the fire, on September 25, ILLIT attended Paris Fashion Week for the brand Acne Studios and it has not sat well with many.

In images from the show, the idols displayed professionalism and seemed more mature than during their first Fashion Week appearance earlier in the year, before their debut. However, when a video of the girls' appearance was posted on an X (formerly known as Twitter) account, it garnered a lot of hateful comments, most of which came from NewJeans fans.

Some commenters felt the members lacked "star quality," comparing them to other female idols and claiming that "nobody cared" about them. Others criticized their presence, noting that the members struggled to walk in heels as well. ILLIT fans, known as GLLIT, attempted to explain that it was raining and the girls were navigating rocky ground in heels, but their pleas seemed to fall on deaf ears. Netizens believe ILLIT has been unfairly criticized since their debut.
