Trigger Warning: Mention of suicide & distress
While maintaining a busy schedule and promoting his latest release, BAMESIS, with global performances, artist BamBam has worried his fans and the broader K-pop community after posting a series of alarming updates. The idol raised eyebrows with an Instagram story in which he expressed a desire to "sleep and not wake up," deeply troubling many fans online.

Although BamBam later mentioned that his mental state had improved, he admitted that he was still unhappy amidst his hectic schedule. On September 23, it was announced that he would be taking a break. However, on September 29, he shared another concerning Instagram story, stating he would be "gone for good" in 2025, once again raising alarm among fans.
Adding to these concerns, BamBam tweeted a goodnight message on X (formerly known as Twitter) and responded to a supportive fan by stating that the people around him were "the reason I’m dying."

Fans on X have voiced their fears about how BamBam's intense workload and management might be affecting his mental health. K-pop fans have even put their usual fan wars aside to praise the GOT7 member and shower him with love and support. Many fans hope BamBam can distance himself from people who may not have his best interests and they trended "WE LOVE YOU BAMBAM" everywhere.
As a shawol and as someone who loves you, I think I should do this. I don't know what kind of pain you're going through, but don't forget that one day they'll let you go. It may remain a scar, but you'll be better than you are now.

Not BTS related but no matter who you are, it's deeply concerning if you feel like you're alone and there's no one to talk to when you're truly not well. @BamBam1A, you are not alone. Your family, friends and fans love you. Please take good care.
